Basic Beliefs
The Bible is the inspired word of God and the sole authority in matters of faith and practice.
We are to offer grace and toleration in matters not specifically addressed in Scripture.
There is one God who exists as three co-equal and co-eternal persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God created all things and made mankind in His image.
Sin has separated all mankind from a holy God.
Jesus Christ is God who became a man.
Jesus died, was buried, and raised on the third day to pay our sin penalty.
Salvation is by grace through faith, not through works.
Faith expressed in immersion receives the blessing of God's grace and deliverance.
Jesus is coming again at a time not specified by scripture.
There will be a Day of Judgment for all people.
There is a Heaven and a Hell, one of which will be the destiny for every person.
Relationship with Jesus is the determining factor in one's final destiny.
Christians are not perfect, just forgiven.
The Great Commission calls us to make disciples.
The Great Commandment drives us to love God and Love our fellowman.
The life of Jesus is our model for our own life of service to others.
Marriage is a sacred, God-designed relationship between a man and a woman eternally patterned after the relationship between Jesus and His bride, the Church.
